We run a clean and friendly guest house in a good location with countryside tours and visa services available. Where is the Khongor guest house?
Our guest house is clean and in a convenient location close to the Department store (a major landmark in central Ulaanbatar, a few blocks from Sukhbaatar Square) on "Peace Avenue”, the main road through the city.

How much will it cost?
We have dormitory beds and private rooms available. We offer discounts if you stay with us for more than one week (7 days) continuously. These discounted rates are in brackets.

* Dorm 5 USD per person per night (4 USD)
* Single room 10 USD per night (8 USD)
* double room 14 USD per night (12 USD)
* family room 20 USD per night (16 USD)
* 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen & shower 30 USD per night

We can also arrange homestays with Mongolian host families. Please contact us for more information.

Can I choose my own route? Can I rent my own vehicle?
We can offer you two price options for countryside long trips and you can feel free to choose the one most you like.

Price 1 - "package price"

Includes all services and all prices - pay once for the trip. Please see our trip list for our package prices. The price varies depending on the number of travellers in your group.

Our packages normally include: English speaking tour assistant who also cooks for guests, Driver, gasoline, cooking gear, tent, sleeping bags, everyday 3 times meals, Horse trip Terkhi or Khovsgol lake, Short time horse ride and Camel ride in Nomad family, Local guide for Horse trip , Hunting pistol, fishing equipments, Ger stay, Khorhog traditional food, Monastery and museums fees etc.

Excludes: special drinks, charge for taking photo by
camera and photo apparatus at monastery and museums.

Price 2 - vehicle hire only

Regardless of the number of people who hire the car, the price for hiring the vehicle will not change. It means the vehicle price is the same whether 2 or 6 people will hire it.

*Russian Jeep 55 USD per day
*Russian Minivan 60 USD per day
* Comfortable Japanese Jeep or minivan 70 USD per day

Including: driver, meals for the driver, tent, sleeping bag, camping mattress, cooking gear, fishing equipment if you want.

Excluding: tour assistant, gasoline, ger stay , park and museum fees, meals, horse trip, short time horse and camel ride etc. ALL

If you need easy speaks tour assistant 18 USD per day for food.

Discount and Awards
*Discount for countryside tours longer than 10 days.
*Discounts for guests staying for more than one week continuously.
*Discount for car rental longer than 10 days.
*Guests taking part in a ''Special interest short tour'' programme receive a gift tape of a Morin Huur-Horse headed violin concert, the Mongolian national musical instrument.
*Guests who go on our long trips will receive a gift T shirt .
* We will offer a glass of French wine and a cake for any guests who happen to have their birthday during his/her stay at our guesthouse or whilst on one of our tours.
